You can try reinstalling the software through LMSA, however, performing Rescue option will reset your device. Does anyone know if the technical folks at the authorized service centres have this kind of capability? Thanks. I would be willing to send it in, and pay for the repairs, or data recovery if there was a very good chance of success. No Reset has been performed.I am wondering if my (Canadian, or American) Motorola Authorized Repair/Service Centre has some sophisticated manufacturer supplied hardware, and/or software tools/debugging equipment that they could use to either extract the data from the phone, and/or render the phone bootable/functional again, so that I could back up the data myself? The phone is out of warranty, but that's okay. Motorola online support was of no real use - they simply recommended a Factory Reset, but of course that will erase all my data. I have quite a bit of data that's not backed up, and I would like to try to recover it. No problems getting to the Recovery Screen/Menus. Occasionally it goes further along the boot process, but then flashes and starts again. It gets to the Motorola logo screen, and then flashes and goes back to the logo screen. Hi there,Last week my stock, non-Rooted Moto G5 phone shut off on its own, and when I attempted to power it up, it got stuck in a bootloop.
